Where the cons are

Houston hosts the most, with 11 listings of the 53 we track in Texas. Dallas (7), Lake Jackson (3), Conroe (2), and El Paso (2) and others fill in the rest.

In all, 24 cities in Texas have hosted a con on our list, so there is usually one within a drive.

When to go

March and April are the busiest months for cons in Texas; August has had none on our list.

Shows that come back

We have 13 shows in Texas listed in more than one year, so they are a safe bet to return: KimoKawaii Anime Experience & Convention in Conroe, El Paso Comic Con 2027 in El Paso, Otaku Odyssey 2027 in Mesquite, and The PeliCON 2027 in Texas City.

How this list is made

Searching for a comic con near me from Texas? This page is that list. Every Texas con here was found on the organizer's own website and is re-checked weekly. A show that disappears from its source for three weeks in a row is hidden until it comes back, and the last update date is on the homepage. Dates and tickets always come from the official site, linked on every event page.
