Arthur Adams

Arthur Adams

Comic Artist, Cover Artist, Penciller

Adams packs more detail into a panel than seems reasonable, every scale and rivet accounted for, with a monster-movie enthusiasm running underneath. Longshot and his X-Men work made him a favourite, and his covers are recognisable across a room.

Walt Simonson

Walt Simonson

Comic Artist, Penciller, Writer

Simonson breaks the page apart and rebuilds it: sound effects that double as design elements, panels tilting into each other, mythology drawn at full volume. His Thor is among the most imitated runs in superhero comics.
